The timings of the Championships will be from:-
2pm -4.00pm on Saturday and 2pm-4.30pm on Sunday

How to enter:-
If you wish to participate then forward a completed form no later than Monday 11th June 2007.
Initial audition - There will be an initial audition taking place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June (with full costumes) and photos will be taken for the press after which the short listed groups / performers will be invited to perform at the event.
Some of the trophies of this years event will be presented by Yukhta Mukhi, a former Miss World, who has now starred in a number of Bollywood films.
Dance Championship 2007
The Sun-kissed Dance Championships 2007 is a two day event brought to you by Diva Entertainments, providing an opportunity for people to display their talents to a live audience. The event is open to children, the youth and adults from all cultural backgrounds, and is an ideal platform to showcase their work.
The dance event will be hosted on the weekend of Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July 2007 in Valentines park, Ilford and will be part of the Sunkissed event. Over 12,000 people are expected to attend the weekend event and it will be televised.
Honey Kalaria, more popularly known as the Bollywood Ambassador to the UK and who runs 18 dance schools will facilitate the judging process and come on board as a chief advisor. She has been requested to advise the judging panel on how the competition should be judged, organised and what areas the marks should be allocated in, together with offering her support.
Honey, who is based in Redbridge said, “This will be such a wonderful way to display the various art forms, allowing participants to express and demonstrate their creative skills. Offering such great variety will also be entertaining for the audiences attending, and ensure that the participants get a chance to expand their knowledge of other dance styles. This is an excellent way to get the local and national talent involved within our borough”.
Weininger Irwin, who runs a dance school in Redbridge concurs and says ‘It's excellent bringing together a variety of dance that reflects the rich diversity of Redbridge and an excellent opportunity for the youngsters to perform in a professional setting.’
